We’re Back! With Big Adventures Planned!!

Hello Lagom Adventurers!  We’re Back!! Many of you may have been wondering what’s been going on with us lately since we haven’t had any new blog posts other than our Weekly Recommendations.  Well….this little thing called “LIFE” happened!

Caroline and I have been exceptionally busy the last several months.  Caroline’s son had knee surgery and then graduation (Congratulations Hunter!).  And this was in addition to her fulfilling orders for her quilting business…oh and completing her obligations at her day job!

I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off myself!  My first year as an administrator became extremely busy at the end of the school year…graduation, scheduling, evaluations, meetings, meetings, and more meetings!  Then my regular motherhood duties, like running my son to practices and baseball games.

I believe I can speak for Caroline as well when I say, by the time we got home in the evenings…we were beat!!!  We did continue some hiking (which you saw if you follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram), but nothing too extravagant.  We’ve got a couple new posts in the works from my time at Council Bluff Conservation Area, our experiences hiking the Ozark Trail from Taum Sauk to Johnson Shut-Ins in the only hiking race in Missouri, the Taum-A-Hawk Hiking Race, among other things.  So be on the lookout for those.

However, are biggest adventure of the summer is about to happen next week:  a trip to Yosemite National Park to hike Half Dome! We are taking two different approaches to reach our intended destination.  So follow our progress on FB and IG! Also, I just booked a family vacation to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. So that will be an exciting adventure as well.

Sorry to all of our followers that have been wondering what the heck had happened to us, but with summer school coming to an end and some adventures under our belt so far this summer and several more planned, we are back and ready to “Rock It!”
